Teaching / Work Experience
Dr. D. V. S. R. Anil Kumar is an accomplished academician, researcher, and academic administrator with more than 22 years of teaching and research experience in Mathematics across engineering and degree colleges. He is currently serving as Professor and Dean – Science & Humanities at T.K.R. College of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad, where he contributes to academic planning, curriculum development, faculty coordination, student mentoring, and institutional quality enhancement.
He obtained his B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from Nagarjuna University in 1995, M.Sc. in Mathematics from Osmania University in 2004, M.Phil. in Mathematics from Madurai Kamaraj University in 2007, and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Nagarjuna University in 2012. His areas of specialization include Lattice Theory, Measure Theory, Real Analysis, Complex Analysis, Topology, Functional Analysis, Algebra, Number Theory, and Laplace Transformations.
Dr. Anil Kumar has published more than 30 research papers in reputed journals, including Scopus-indexed and UGC-listed journals. His major research interests include Lattice Sigma Algebras, Signed Lattice Measures, Boolean-Valued Measures, and Soft Set Theory. He has also contributed a book chapter titled “Characterization of Partial Lattices via Measures,” published by Taylor & Francis in 2024, and has two published patents in the areas of lattice-based optimization and industrial fault classification.
Throughout his career, he has taught undergraduate and postgraduate students, guided Ph.D. scholars under JNTU Hyderabad and JNTU Kakinada, and contributed to curriculum development under various JNTU regulations. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Studies, Subject Expert for AICTE, and Subject Expert and Item Creator for TCS iON. He has presented papers at national and international conferences, chaired a technical session at an international conference in Dubai, and participated in workshops, Faculty Development Programmes, seminars, and other academic activities.
With his extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership, Dr. D. V. S. R. Anil Kumar continues to promote student-centred learning, research-oriented education, academic discipline, and institutional development. His contributions to Mathematics, research guidance, curriculum design, and academic administration strengthen the quality and reputation of the institution.
